Ancang actively implements sustainability strategies to fulfill its responsibilities in governance, environment and society.
Focusing on integrity, eco-friendly practices, friendly workplace and social contribution, as outlined in our sustainability report. 

 

ESG Sustainable Development Team

Established the Sustainable Development Team in 2022, Ancang’s Sustainable Development Team is the highest-level body for planning and driving corporate sustainability initiatives.
 
Chaired by the Board Chairman, the Sustainable Development Team includes the General Manager and Deputy General Manager as Vice Chairs and reports directly to the Board. It is divided into three sub-Teams—Operations and Governance, Social Inclusion, and Environmental Sustainability, each led by appointed conveners. The Vice Chairs oversee stakeholder communication and ESG report preparation, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Operations and Governance Team-Oversees business performance, risk management, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and information security.
  • Social Inclusion Team-Focuses on occupational safety, employee well-being, and participation in community and cultural initiatives.
  • Environmental Sustainability Team-Drives R&D for engineering quality, promotes sustainable practices with suppliers, reduces environmental impact, and supports green building and ecological conservation.

The figure shows the 2024 sustainability organization chart. We planned to establish a Sustainability Development Committee to support the Board in advancing sustainable business strategies. This includes appointing Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) and forming cross-functional team focusing on carbon footprinting, social engagement, and long-term ESG goals. The company will continue strengthening its Environmental(E), Social(S), and Governance(G) efforts, enhancing transparency and reputation to meet investor and market expectations.

Operational status

The Sustainable Development Team holds regular meetings led by the Chairperson, with each subcommittee reporting on key topics and performance. At the start of each year, data is compiled by subcommittee conveners and consolidated by the Executive Secretary into the sustainability report. Starting in 2025, the report must be completed by August and published on the company website. Reporting follows GRI Standards, focusing on environmental protection, carbon reduction, employee well-being, and public welfare.
