Sustainability Efforts

Sustainability Efforts:

Ancang committed to environmental protection, safety, and health. We promote energy-saving practices such as turning off lights during lunch breaks, replacing old fuel-consuming vehicles, and adopting cloud-based software to reduce paper use and carbon emissions.

In 2024, we also contributed to social causes, including:

  • Donations through KPMG Taiwan.
  • Sponsorship of National Cheng Kung University’s Civil Engineering 80th Anniversary.
  • Support Spring River Theatre Performance.
  • Donation to the University of Taipei tug-of-war team.

Organizational and Product Carbon Footprint Assessment (Headquarters and Construction Sites):

Ancang actively enhances corporate environmental and energy efficiency performance, reduces environmental impact, continuously optimizes system operation management and internal operational carbon reduction, and implements an organizational greenhouse gas verification system in accordance with the company's mid-term sustainable development goals. Through mandatory statistics and improvements, we progressively achieve the target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, demonstrating our company's commitment to environmental protection. Furthermore, the company regularly sends personnel to participate in external training courses to obtain the latest carbon accounting information and meet the expectations of the Financial Supervisory Commission and the general public.

Energy Conservation and Green Equipment Investment Status:

Ancang continues to promote green procurement and the replacement of energy-saving equipment, incorporating energy efficiency, environmental certification, and energy performance into key procurement evaluation criteria.

  • FY2024: Green procurement declared amount totaled NT$8,235 thousand, achieving energy savings. Note 1🔗Reference Source
  • FY2025: Green procurement declared amount totaled NT$5,194 thousand, with additional procurement of environmentally beneficial transportation equipment. Note 2🔗Reference Source
  • 2026: Taipei headquarters fully replaced traditional fluorescent tubes with dual-certified LED panel lights bearing both energy-saving and environmental labels. This achieved annual electricity savings of 9,499 kWh compared to conventional lighting, continuously enhancing energy efficiency and reducing operational environmental impact.

計算:

Note 1: In fiscal year 2024, the Sanmin Yuli Engineering Office was established, with all air conditioning equipment upgraded to Class 1 energy-efficient variable-frequency units, while replacing existing outdated systems. Based on relevant estimates, each Class 1 energy-efficient unit saves approximately 670 kWh annually compared to conventional fixed-frequency air conditioners, demonstrating the tangible benefits of high-efficiency equipment in reducing operational energy consumption.

Note 2: In FY2015, the company procured environmentally beneficial transportation equipment, including 7 GP 125 motorcycles and 2 Corolla Cross Hybrid vehicles, with procurement costs of NT$387,000 and NT$1,721,000 respectively. Among these, the hybrid version of the COROLLA CROSS HYBRID achieves an average fuel efficiency of 23.5 km/L,

exceeding the gasoline version's 14.3 km/L. Based on an annual mileage of 20,000 kilometers per vehicle, the two vehicles combined can save approximately 1,095.1 liters of gasoline, reducing the Company's carbon emissions.
